Hello, welcome. My name is Christian Baes (1988), I am a Brazilian art worker born in the border with Uruguay. Living in Portugal since late 2020, I seek to reflect my time through visual narratives linked to social and philosophical topics of our daily lives. I am a multidisciplinary professional acting in the creative and artistic field since 2006, where I started my trajectory as an actor. Since then, I had the opportunity to work as a producer and creative communication agency, starting in 2010 my activity as a photographer and filmmaker. Graduated in Audiovisual Production, mastering in Documentary Photography, I had the opportunity to take several professional specialization courses in countries like Brazil, Argentina, Canada and Portugal. To date my professional career has been graced with over 45 individual and collective awards and participation in several group and solo exhibitions. I work to dialogue and create impact in the community. I believe that art is only art from the encounter with the other and that from this encounter a better society is built.
